Start Seeing Diversity: Creating Art

We Are All Different but the Same..............

I look to a day when people will not be
judged by the color of their skin, but by
                    the content of their character

                                                        Martin Luther King, Jr.

We belong to different Culture groups

Differences in people and variety in cultures make everything less
boring than it otherwise would be, race is what makes us different, and the color of our skin, it is a great thing that no one is exactly alike which makes us all unique.

We are All Different But the Same...............

Diversity Is...... Being Different, But Being Yourself......

Becoming an Anti-Bias Educator means to except the differences in everyone, because we are all unique in our own way......

  1. I enjoyed reading your blog post. I like how you found pictures for each stanza in your poem that goes along with what you were trying to say. I like the saying we are all different but the same. Yes we are all different but we are all human beings. We are all special in some one way. We may have different skin colors and personalities but at the end of the day we are still the same.

  2. Hi Linda!

Great blog post and I loved how you chose a palette to show the differences of religion, culture, ethnicity etc. A picture can speak a thousand words and your creative art and shows the importance of unity in diversity.
    Cheers!

  3. Enjoyed reading your blog Linda!
I'm not very good when it comes down to creating art, but you have given me some great ideas. I know we are all different, but hopefullyone day we'll be able to come together as one.

  4. Linda, I understand the differences of many cultures. I love to learn from different people. I love how you post the different "ism." I enjoy what each culture brings to environment of learning, food, and their knowledge. Children embrace these values faster than adults. When teach diversity to children, we open up a whole new world. Tamarah
